The tr16, or tr60, consists of two components, wall display unit Du and thermostat control Tc. Hvac systems compatibility: works with standard gas electric or heat pump mechanical systems 2-stage cooling for. Fan selection for w heat operation. The Tc connects to an automation system via cat-5 wiring.

The Tc provides all hvac mechanical systems outputs as well rs-485 remote interface. 3-stage heating, 2-stage cooling for heat pump systems.

Fuse protected relay outputs to the mechanical systems. Serial interface: rs-485, 9600 n81, half-duplex uses ASCII based free form character strings. Used for a year or so in my old house, only manual mode - never had chance to hook it up computer. Includes a serial cable I made and the power adapter.

Normal local control of the hvac system is Du with its typical thermostat like user interface. Heat pump changeover delectable for or cool operation. The Du and Tc connect to each other, via a 4-wire Rcs link 2 power, data using existing thermostat wiring.
