The model ss is equipped with a positive safety lock feature. Unlike competitive model's, it can't be reset by an accidental brush or bump against either the actuating arm, cable eye. To be reset, the actuation arm must pushed in and rotated. When locked into position it acts as a flag to indicate tripped switch.
When an actuation force overcomes this resistance the cam rotates 60 and is locked into place by a spring plunger. A pull on the cable at any point along its run will rotate arm two spring loaded detentes riding hardened steel cam provide resistance to rotation. One Sp TD switch Controls cable for two directions. A cable is run from fixed point to one of the attaching positions on actuating arm.
It takes no longer and makes this truly a safety switch. In order to reset the switch actuating arm must be pushed in, and turned available w 2 - Sp TD switches.
